Next up in our new Associate introductions is Senior Architect, Stuart Taylor.
Since joining us in 2018, Stuart has designed and delivered an impressive portfolio of education projects. His experience includes acting as Architect and Architectural Technical Advisor on numerous DfE schools, as well as more recently delivering the East Midlands Institute of Technology at Loughborough College.
Last year, Stuart was delighted to pick up two Sheffield Design Awards for the 105th Sheffield Scouts HQ, recognising his and the team’s work in creating a building that has had a positive impact on its local community.
Looking ahead, Stuart is excited to build and lead a team working on the updated DfE CF25 standard, while also taking on the role of School Lead, working closely with Pauline Lake, Education Director.
Commenting on his appointment, Stuart said:
“I’ve had the fortune to work on a wide range of education projects and I want to help shout about our expertise. We put people at the heart of our projects, and I believe there is no more important setting for that than education.”
Stuart has also played a key role in delivering BIM information, NZCIO projects, and acting as Principal Designer. As an Associate, he’s keen to further grow Race Cottam’s expertise across these areas.
In addition, Stuart is looking forward to taking a more active role in staff development and wellbeing, with a particular focus on enhancing our training practices.
Congratulations, Stuart, on your well-deserved promotion.
Stay tuned as we introduce our final new associate later this week
