Ponds Forge Health and Fitness Centre

This commercial interior design refurbishment scheme encompasses a modernisation and refurbishment of Sheffield's Ponds Forge health and fitness suites. The scheme provides a spacious 1000m2 gym, two fitness studios, spa and treatment facilities, and dedicated changing rooms.
The Brief
Our clients understood the interior design of health and fitness environments is an important aspect the overall enjoyment of using the facility and to maintaining memberships. Their requirements were to deliver a high quality and contemporary ‘look and feel’, with key considerations of long term maintenance and durability.
The Design
The health and fitness suite is a self-contained member’s area with a contemporary interior scheme. The gym layout has been space-planned to echo the existing ‘rotunda’, and enhances the existing character of the interior architecture.
The Outcome
The health and fitness centre provides a valuable amenity to local residents of Sheffield.
