Whitehouse is a large residential area in the Western Expansion Area of Milton Keynes.
The Brief
A new health centre was required to provide an integrated response to the primary care needs of a projected population of over 16,500.
The Design
The primary health care facilities within the centre are located at first and second floors, and comprise; 22 primary care team rooms, 2 treatment rooms, A minor surgery suite, Ancillary support accommodation including clean and dirty utilities, sanitary facilities and stores, Multi-purpose rooms and office accommodation.In addition to the primary care facilities, space has been allotted to allow the co-location of facilities for the Thames Valley Police and the ambulance service.
