Rebecca Rowland
Architect
Rebecca joined RCA as an architect in September 2025 after graduating from University of Nottingham.
Rebecca has a strong interest in community-focused architecture, particularly in civic and cultural projects. Her experience spans a wide range of sectors, including education, residential, light industrial, commercial, and civic buildings. She brings a thoughtful, collaborative approach to her work, aiming to create spaces that are both functional and meaningful to the communities they serve. She’s drawn to the clarity and practicality of mid-century modern design - her favourite building is the Eames House by Charles and Ray Eames. Currently renovating her own home, she’s exploring ways to incorporate mid-century elements into the design.
Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys reformer Pilates, swimming, reading, and spending time with her cat, Phoebe. Her dream commission would be a coastal research facility that supports both environmental study and public engagement.
