He has been involved with several hospital projects and schools in the Sheffield area and beyond. He especially likes to assist in the co-ordination of the different disciplines and ensuring all involved form an effective team. His strengths are writing robust specifications and developing symapthetic details in the conversion of Listed Buildings as well as client and team liaison.
Patrick started work for John Brunton Partnerhip in 1988 (the forerunner of Race Cottam Associates) and contined to work for Race Cottam when they formed in 1993.
His interests outside of architecture lie in railways and model railways, reading, Church music and Liturgy.
His favourite building is Broad Leys by Voysey and his dream commission would be to design a Church.
