Meesha Mistry
Architectural Assistant
Meesha is a recent graduate from Sheffield Hallam University. She is interested in sustainable design, healthcare and architectural psychology. In particular how buildings can be designed to provide benefits such as healing or improved mental health and wellbeing.
During her part 1 studies Meesha focused on designing to meet sustainability goals and passivhaus standards.
Before joining RCA Meesha has gained experience working for Arup, London, Harron Homes, Chesterfield and as a technical BIM assistant with Infinite BIM, Leeds. She has also worked for family and family friends as part of her uni placement and provided architectural 3D models, plans and elevations for residential conversions.
Out of work, Meesha loves outdoor and immersive adventures like Go-Ape, kayaking, and the crystal maze experience. You’ll also find her enjoying a cocktail in quirky ‘experience’ bars, as well as spending time with friends and family.
Meesha's favourite building is Ribbon Chapel, Hiroshima and her dream commission would be a Maggie's centre or a building designed with similar principles to help renal/ dialysis patients.
