Jess Wilkinson
Associate
Jess has a shear passion for design and creativity. Working predominately in Education, Retail, Commercial Offices and Healthcare, across the whole spectrum of work from ‘front-end’ design and competitions to detailed construction packages, her project experience extends from the UK to a multitude of overseas locations including Prague, Warsaw, Stockholm and Barcelona.
Since joining Race Cottam in 2019, her key projects include project lead on the New Main Entrance & Paediatrics’ for Hull Royal Infirmary; a three storey extension and refurbishment project, Paces; one of the Uk's leading centres for Conductive Education and the Global Institute of Safe Autonomy; a research facility for York University.
Professionally Jess is particularly interested in adaption and reuse of existing building stock, exploring innovative ways of bringing buildings back to life.
In her spare time Jess loves being outdoors and often spends her weekends hiking in the peak district and further field, discovering new areas and local pubs for a well-deserved drink. Jess also has a keen interest for house renovations and is currently renovating a 19th school house in Derbyshire.
