Jacob Peplow
Architect
Having recently passed his RIBA Part 3 at Sheffield Hallam University, Jacob is in the early stage of his architectural career, but displays huge strengths in graphic representation, production of drawing packages and interior design schemes.
Since joining RCA in 2015, Jacob's experience lies largely in the Healthcare sector, having contributed to major schemes including Bakewell Health Centre and Hull Royal Infirmary Paediatrics Department. He also works on Education and Commercial sector projects.
Jacob is our in-house BREEAM guru and is working towards becoming a BREEAM associate, championing the correct implementation of the assessment in practice. He also has a keen eye and interest in interior design.
Out of work, Jacob and his partner Emily love to spend quality time with their young daughter Florence and son Abel. When he gets a quiet moment from work, studying and parenting, Jacob likes to unwind sketching and reading.
His favourite buildings are the National Arts Schools in Cuba by Porro, Gottardi and Garatti and his dream commission would be to design a contemporary take on an established typography; a church or library.
