Ellis’ passion for sustainability, and boosting ecosystems with the inclusion of animal and plant life in the built environment, is set to be of great value to the practice’s sustainability agenda.  Along with his experience in the health sector in hospital asset information coordination, and computer aided facilities management.

When he’s away from his desk Ellis enjoys fishing, taking part in regular matches with his local club.  He enjoys swimming, and after competing at national level has become a committee member of the Stocksbridge swimming club.

Ellis’ favourite building is the CCTV headquarters in Beijing and his dream commission would be a carbon neutral hospital.
