Unanimous Approval for Peak District Health Centre

Peak District National Park Authority have given unanimous planning consent for our Bakewell health centre.  This marks a huge milestone for the project and we are thrilled to be part of a fantastic team delivering this new facility.

The new health centre will be a multipurpose accessible building to meet the requirements of modern healthcare provision, housing a number of existing services including mental health, children’s services, speech and language services, podiatry and physiotherapy. It will also continue to be a base for the East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS).

Local residents and the PDNPA Cultural Heritage Team perceived the proposals for this major development to be an improvement and enhancement to the site, which is a gateway to the Conservation Area.

Construction is due to start in late 2021.
