Following on from a talk by Senior Architectural Technologist Chris Halligan last month, our Directors Laurie and Pauline gave two presentations to students at the Kier Construction Academy at The Sheffield College. The focus this time was on communication, and the exciting and varied roles within architecture. It's wonderful to engage with students at the start of their career although quite a challenge to condense everything about architecture into 1 hour! Hopefully the students were given an insight into why we love our careers. Collaboration, communication and constantly learning were some of the reasons given.
