Project info

The new sixth form facility will provide an inspiring and more mature environment tailored to the needs of the Academy’s older pupils. The building will include purpose-built classrooms, flexible study spaces and two dedicated libraries to support independent learning and improve literacy. At its heart will be a dynamic double-height “street” café, designed as a social and collaborative hub where students can work together, undertake group projects, study independently or relax between lessons.

By creating a vibrant and supportive learning environment distinct from the main school, the facility aims to strengthen reading habits, raise reading age and encourage greater participation of the local community in further education.

The project has just started on site.
